Martin Enger Holm performs as tenor soloist in Franz Schubert’s Mass in G major (D.167), one of the Austrian composer’s most beloved sacred works.

Written in 1815 when Schubert was just eighteen years old, the Mass in G combines lyrical beauty with remarkable emotional depth and remains one of the most frequently performed settings of the Mass in the classical repertoire.

The Easter Day performance takes place at Friedenskirche Linz-Urfahr with Sinfonia Christkönig, conducted by Eduard Matscheko, bringing together orchestra, choir and soloists for this celebrated work of sacred music.
