This production trailer presents Martin Enger Holm as Komár (Mosquito) in Leoš Janáček’s The Cunning Little Vixen, performed at Landestheater Linz Musiktheater during the 2024/25 season.
Janáček’s opera combines nature, humour and philosophy in one of the most original works of the twentieth-century repertoire. Through colourful orchestration and vivid characters, it explores the relationship between humans, animals and the natural world.
Martin’s role as Komár forms part of the opera’s lively forest scenes and contributes to the production’s playful atmosphere. The performance further expanded his growing repertoire of Czech and twentieth-century opera.
