Landestheater Linz presented Giuseppe Scarlatti’s rarely performed baroque opera I portentosi effetti della madre natura. Martin Enger Holm appeared as Celidoro, the rightful but unrecognised Prince of Mallorca, in this colourful production accompanied by the Bruckner Orchestra Linz. The revival introduced audiences to one of the forgotten gems of eighteenth-century opera.
